The procedure results after a month, but the variation occurs like after every 2 to 3 days; it can signify the presence of scalp disorder Dandruff. In Ayurveda, it is known as the Kshudra Roga-Daranakam; the possible causes would be malnutrition, poor lifestyle, and aggravation in the Vatta & Pitta Dosha. At times, living a hygiene-free life also becomes one of the reasons for dandruff.
A scalp needs an equal amount of attention and care like the rest of the body. Ayurveda recommends washing your hair thrice a week with moderate amounts of shampoo and conditioner. Other causes may include seborrheic dermatitis, skin allergies, and stress. Ayurveda provides both topical and internal medications that help with the management of Vatta and Pitta Dosha in the body. The Ayurvedic treatment includes yoga for dandruff, topical remedies, dietary modifications, and specific guidelines to avoid the severe disorders related to the liver and kidneys.
