Urinary tract a pathway for waste elimination that comprises four organs that are kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. All these involved organs process the food and minerals and produce, carry, retain, and excrete the waste out of the body. The waste thus produced is the byproduct of bodily metabolism. However, anything except these in the urine can depict the failure of the organs and illness of the body. White blood cells, protein, and blood in the urine define body illness.

There are many ailments that have their association with the urinary tract such as hematuria, nephritis, kidney stones, urinary tract infections, prostatitis, proteinuria, and other issues. In Ayurveda, the urinary tract is known as Mutravahasrota and the disease is caused due to the imbalance of major energies of human body Vata, Pitta, and Kapha also known as doshas.
